During late years I'v been focusing on
smaller independent record lables.
Smaller artists on the side of the mainstream.
There are many reasons for this behaviour.
You can stick it to the big media corporations
at the same time as you get better music
much cheaper. So it's a win-win situation.

One such newborn "star" got my attention
just by chance.
It's a young irish woman named Cara Dillon.

With 3 solo album at the moment she
has created quite a buzz in certain circles.
More than you would expect from such a fresh
singer in this particular genre.
Her voice is simply put amazing.
Pure as a fairy bell in springtime coupled with
this irish sound makes it a true joy to listen to.
Some tracks are very "folksy" and other goes
more to the modern.
The instruments are often classical like strings
and piano etc. All the time the focus lies on her
angelic voice.
So if you get a chance to buy one of her albums
please do so. Very few singers can hold a tune
like this set of pipes!
